Terms of Sale

These terms apply to the sale of saunas by Architectural Saunas ([ABN to be inserted]). By paying a deposit, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. 01

    Quotes

We provide written quotes based on the details you give us. A quote is valid for [30] days unless stated otherwise, and is not confirmed as an order until a deposit is paid.

  2. 02

    Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars. Your written quote will specify whether GST is included. Prices may change before a deposit is paid.

  3. 03

    Orders and deposit

A deposit of 50% of the total price is required to confirm your order and reserve a place in our build schedule. Your build begins once we have received both your deposit and your cladding colour selection.

  4. 04

    Custom builds and deposit refunds

Each sauna is custom-built to your colour selection. Once your build has commenced or materials have been ordered for it, the deposit is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by the Australian Consumer Law.

  5. 05

    Balance payment

The remaining 50% balance is due before or on delivery, as set out in your quote. We may withhold delivery until the balance is paid in full.

  6. 06

    Lead time

Our typical lead time is four to six weeks from the date we receive your deposit and colour selection. Lead times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

  7. 07

    Delivery

Delivery is $300 within 50 km of our base. Locations beyond 50 km are quoted separately. We deliver within the ACT and NSW. You must ensure clear and safe access to the delivery location. Risk in the sauna passes to you on delivery.

  8. 08

    Final placement

You are responsible for arranging the final lift and placement of the sauna into position on site, including any crane or lifting equipment required.

  9. 09

    Site preparation

Before delivery you must prepare a level slab of at least 2000 × 1400 mm, and a dedicated single-phase 32 A electrical circuit ready for connection. We provide a site preparation guide once your deposit is confirmed.

  10. 10

    Electrical connection

The sauna must be connected by a licensed electrician engaged by you. Your electrician must test, commission, and certify the connection, including issuing any certificate of compliance required. The sauna must not be used until this is complete. We are not responsible for electrical work carried out by your electrician.

  11. 11

    Council and other approvals

Obtaining any council or other regulatory approval for the sauna's placement on your property is your responsibility. We can provide product specifications to assist your application.

  12. 12

    Warranty

We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery. The Colorbond cladding carries a manufacturer warranty of up to 30 years, and the Harvia heater carries the standard Harvia manufacturer warranty. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect electrical installation, misuse, alteration, accident, or failure to follow the Harvia manual and our handover instructions.

  13. 13

    Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those consumer guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to those guarantees, our liability for any breach of these terms is limited to the repair or replacement of the sauna, or the cost of doing so.

  14. 14

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
